Hey! Thanks for checking out Me.dium, and giving us a critical review. User feedback is really important to us, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, (especially on a site that titles itself "skeptical mind!"

Me.dium’s technology lets the inherent activity of real people - not robotic crawlers - determine relevance. While other search engines base relevance on how content links across pages, Me.dium’s Social Search shows you the most popular news, reviews, pictures and videos that other people are actually surfing and looking at in relation to your search term. This also includes the list of the most popular searched keywords on the homepage, (rather than recently searched items like mentioned in your blog, so unless a good majority of people are all searching the same individual, searching one's self shouldn't be an issue.) As the activity of the people online changes, so do the search results.

We are trying to do something very original, and make the net a more social place. Please email me with any questions, Jboyle@me.dium.com Thanks again!
